Year 2008

Year 2008 is a great year to remember! In year 2008, we have the first Olympus in Beijing, first Chinese astronaut to walk in space, first African American to become President Elect of United States! The list will go on and on, but for myself, the greatest event in year 2008 was my wedding trip to China!

Due to the geological different between Carrie and My families and friends, we had three different weddings in three locations. Each wedding has its own unique style and representation. The wedding in US was not big and only accommodate our friends and colleagues in a cocktail/dinner style. It was more casual setting and we can manage what we want. The wedding in Hong Kong was little bit bigger then the one in US. It was a simple but warm loving Chinese wedding dinner that my family put up.

The last wedding in Qing Dao was the biggest one managed by Carrie's parent. Carrie's parent did an excellent job organizing a grand wedding banquet that impressed everyone including myself. Beside the wedding, we also traveled to Beijing for couple days to see the Great Wall, Imperial Palace and Olympic Arena. The wedding trip to China was quick and rush, but it was a once in live time experience that I enjoyed so much. And certainly this was my greatest moment in year 2008!
